SAVAGE KINGDOM UPRISING
Savage Kingdom
Wildlife survival on the African plains is an epic story of power, rivalry, instinct, and consequence. Elevated by Charles Dance’s commanding narration of the Lord’s Prayer.
Savage Kingdom: Uprising treats African wildlife as dynastic drama rather than nature documentary. The challenge was to sustain that operatic register visually, matching Charles Dance's commanding narration without tipping into parody.
The approach borrowed from prestige drama. Design direction used dark, painterly imagery, regal typographic hierarchy, and slow deliberate motion to frame animals as rival houses competing for territory, with the narration's cadence driving the edit.
The outcome was a campaign that read as epic storytelling — power, rivalry, instinct, and consequence — and gave the franchise a look distinct from conventional wildlife branding.
